YOUTH RIOT | A Third Street Theatre Creation

Queer Art. Queer Space. Queer You.

Program begins March 24th, 2022 with orientation on March 23rd, 2022. Meets are weekly Thursday nights from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Apply by March 14th, 2022

2SLGBTQ+ 14-21-year-olds across Alberta are encouraged to apply for this free 5-week creative writing program where you will learn tools and skills from professionals in the Canadian arts community to help you develop you own story and voice.

Here are the details:

  • Participation in YOUth Riot is 100% free to you
  • Absolutely no previous experience is necessary
  • You must be between the ages of 14 to 21 years old to apply
  • YOUth Riots runs every Thursday @ 5:30 – 8:00 pm starting March 24, 2022 with orientation on March 23rd, 2022
  • All meetings will be held virtually over Zoom in Mountain Standard Time
  • All art created in the program will be featured in a future public festival showcase!
