About our service
Supporting working-age youth and adults with disabilities to achieve their goals in independence, well-being and community, this service typically appeals to people who desire increased community involvement, relationship-building and skill development. Individuals in these services are primarily funded through Disability Services – PDD (Persons with Developmental Disabilities) and Family Support for Children with Disabilities, departments within the Government of Alberta.

ABILITY EMPLOYMENT
About Ability Employment
Ability Employment is located at 416 – 8 Street South, Lethbridge and offers pre-employment and employment services to adult Albertans with disabilities or chronic mental health conditions that may be preventing them from finding and maintaining successful employment in Lethbridge and the surrounding area.
Ability Employment is funded in part by The Government Of Alberta, Alberta Disability Services – Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) and Alberta Health Services – Addictions and Mental Health. People interested in receiving employment support services from Ability Employment can inquire directly to determine eligibility for services and referrals are also made through the government funding sources.
Ability Employment is a division of the Ability Resource Association, a not-for-profit registered charity.

WE ARE EXPANDING OUR BEVERAGE CONTAINER PICK UP SERVICE TO INCLUDE COALDALE AND COALHURST!
Pick up available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. ***2 Large Bag minimum*** Fee is $8 and will be waived if refund is donated to Ability (charitable donation receipts provided upon request).
