Free Public Education Workshops – BearPaw Legal Education

created: Jul 25, 2019

Presented by Native Counselling Services of Alberta

Our goal is to develop meaningful, understandable, affordable, and accessible resources to educate Indigenous people about their legal rights and responsibilities.

We cover topics that range from Family, Youth and Criminal Court as well as general interest. All of my travel expenses are covered by our funding agency which means that I come to your community at no cost to you.

There is absolutely no cost to host or attend one of our workshops.

If you are interested in being a future workshop host, please call Nadine Callihoo – Hansen at (780) 482-7891 or email at nadine-callihoo@ncsa.ca to discuss possible dates.

I am providing a description of the workshops that we’ve developed to date.
