Southwest Alberta Regional Housing Forum 2019 in Lethbridge

Please join us March 8th for the Southwest Alberta Regional Housing Forum in Lethbridge.

Learn about rural and urban homelessness, a range of community-based approaches to providing social housing, and join us to help build collective impact to end homelessness in your community and region.

Registration fee is $40 and includes lunch.

Program Overview

We will open the day with a prayer led by Jordan Head from Treaty Seven Housing Authority.

Keynote speakers are Dr. Alina Turner and Liz Weaver from the Tamarack Institute.

Dr. Turner will address “From Crisis to Innovation: Moving towards a regionalized, integrated approach to housing & homelessness in southwest Alberta”.

Following this presentation there will be a panel discussion including Housing reps from Lethbridge, Fort Macleod, Taber, Pincher Creek and the Alberta Rural Development Network.

In the afternoon, Liz Weaver will present a workshop on Collective Impact: A Framework for Community Change.

As a community members, housing practitioner, community leader, partner agency representative or someone with lived experience you will be encouraged to share your perspectives and ideas.
