Community Event with Indigenous Gathering Place Society @ Alexandria Hall

Thank you for sharing your vision and helping shape the Indigenous Gathering Place for generations to come!

The first round of conversations happened from February 1 to March 26, 2019. Join us for a celebration event on April 23, 2019 as we share what we heard in those conversations.

RSVP: IGPCALGARY@GMAIL.COM

Q: What are we celebrating?

A: As we get closer to securing a geographical location, the IGP hosted the first series of community conversations to help us better understand HOW an Indigenous Gathering Place in Calgary will be used. The next round of Community Conversations is planned for summer 2019. Check back here for more details.

WHO DO WE WANT TO HEAR FROM?

Having an inclusive engagement process means that we want to hear from anyone who has a potential interest in the future of the IGP. This includes Indigenous community members (both on-reserve and urban), Indigenous organizations, organizations that serve Indigenous community members, potential neighbours, potential funders, governments, and all Calgarians with an interest in advancing reconciliation.

If you or your organization would like to be part of the next round of community conversations to help shape the future of the IGP, please email us at igpcalgary@gmail.com
