CHIEF DAVID CROWCHILD MEMORIAL AWARD and ABORIGINAL YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

NOMINATIONS and YOUTH AWARD APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN

In partnership with Calgary Aboriginal Urban Affairs Committee (CAUAC) & The City of Calgary

These awards honour a person, group or organization both indigenous and non-indigenous in Calgary, who:

  • Creates bridges of understanding through cross cultural experience between Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultures
  • Creates an understanding of the uniqueness and value of Indigenous culture within Canadian society
  • Encourages or supports Indigenous people in the areas of education, employment and training


    Nomination forms are due by May 27, 2019, 4:30 p.m.

    Award winner’s names will be inscribed on the Chief David Crowchild Memorial Pillar (located at Calgary Municipal Building Atrium). The youth winner is awarded $1,000.
