APPLY OR NOMINATE MEMBERS FOR THE NCTR Survivors Circle

created: Mar 13, 2019

The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) is now accepting nominations and applications for the Survivors Circle. The NCTR Survivors Circle ensures that First Nations, Inuit and Métis Residential School Survivors’ voices remain central to the NCTR.

Survivors are the foundation of Truth and Reconciliation work in this country and an essential part of the NCTR. The Survivors Circle provides advice to the NCTR, the Governing Circle, the University of Manitoba and NCTR partners on the NCTR mandate and other important matters to the broader Survivor community.

Survivors Circle Members will be selected based on geographical regions and a balance of strengths and experiences. Honorariums and travel expenses are provided for participating on the Circle.

Deadline to apply: March 14, 2019
